Our cosmetics are made in Sardinia, which is one of the so-called Blue Zones, land areas where quality and expectancy of life are higher than the rest of the world. Our formulations are studied to reduce the risk of allergies and to be dermatologically safe with percentages of Nickel, Chrome and Cobalt less than 0,0001% (1ppm). Moreover, our cosmetics respect the environment because they use natural and eco-friendly ingredients, , entirely cruelty-free that means not tested on animals.
Lentisk, the regenerative force.
Lentisk represents the strength and the power of regeneration of Sardinia for its simplicity and its ability to regenerate itself even after a fire, and its resistance to long periods of drought.
This typical plant of the Mediterranean scrub is all along known and used in the popular tradition for its refreshing, soothing and protective properties.
Lentisk oil is rich in Essential Fatty Acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 (oleic, linoleic, linolenic acids), which explain the use as anti-reddening, cicatrizing, moisturizer and nourisher, as well as protective of the skin against external agents aggression.
Thanks to its soothing and moisturizing properties, lentisk oil is highly recommended for sensitive and irritated skins, and also to treat dermatitis and psoriasis.
It is an emollient ingredient; its activity is due to a high content of essential fatty acids and a considerable unsaponifiable fraction, rich in gamma oryzanol which has marked protective actions against cutaneous photo-aging.
Particularly indicated as moisturizer and emollient for mature and dry skins.
Its significant percentage of essential fatty acids, unsaponifiable fraction and fat-soluble vitamins give to this oil dermo-compatibles and sebum-like features, as well as protection against UV rays and regenerating properties.
Used by centuries in popular tradition for its refreshing, soothing and protective actions on the skin.
It has emollient, nourishing and elasticizing properties. It prevents the onset of stretch marks during pregnancy, and it can be useful for the treatment of dry and frizzy hair, even when sun and saltiness damage them.
Thanks to its sebum-like properties, it is highly recommended for dry and sensitive skins, useful in the treatment of hair and scalp.
It effects on dermis by stimulating specific enzymes involved in the increment of cutaneous thickness, and by reducing the depth of wrinkles.
Its action, indeed, determines a proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes (epidermal cells) and increases the production of GAG (glycosaminoglycans) that bind water thus improving cutaneous hydration.
At dermal level, vitamin A increases collagen production thus improving skin elasticity and turgidity.
It represents a fundamental protective factor against oxidative events that occur on the phospholipids of cellular membranes.
Moreover, it has a pivotal role in promoting regenerative processes of tissues damaged by pollutants, and it creates on skin a protective thin layer which limits the loss of water.
